Foreign Minister Says: Siege Countries Put the GCC at Risk

Foreign Minister Welcomes Saudi Move to Allow Qatari Pilgrims to Perform Hajj

HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani expressed Qatar's welcoming of the Saudi move on the issue of Hajj (pilgrimage). HE the Foreign Minister said at a joint press conference with his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallstrom, "Regardless of the manner in which Qataris were banned from the pilgrimage, which was politicized, and the manner in which they were again permitted to make the pilgrimage, which was also politicized, the government of Qatar welcomes the decision and will respond positively."
