LocationThe Embassy of the State of Qatar in Jakarta, Indonesia has celebrated today, 11th February 2020, the Qatar National Sports Day, which falls on the second Tuesday of February every year. The event was attended by the President of the Indonesian Olympic Committee, President of the Indonesian University of Syarif Hidayatullah, and heads representatives of Diplomatic Missions of brotherly and friendly countries, embassy’s staff and employees of the Qatari companies and institutions in Indonesia, including "Indosat Ooredoo, QNB, Qatar Airways, Qatar Charity Society, Qatar Red Crescent, Al-Jazeera TV Bureau and a number of Indonesian dignitaries" .
The ceremony, which was held at the National Stadium of the Republic of Indonesia in Senayan, covered various sports activities including walkathon, soccer, table tennis and badminton.
