The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack on a mosque in southwestern France, which left two people injured.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement stressed Qatar's total rejection of targeting places of worship and intimidating civilians.

The statement also expressed the State of Qatar's wishing for speedy recovery to the two injured.
