The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the shooting incident in the U.S. southern state of Texas, which resulted in two deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of the U.S., wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
