The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the assassination of the district administrative chief of Jaghatoo district of Wardak province in central Afghanistan, in a shooting incident in the capital Kabul.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the family of the victim and the government and people of Afghanistan.
