The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of a stabbing attack that injured Indonesian security minister and a local police chief in Banten province west of Jakarta.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes.

The State of Qatar wished the two injured officials a speedy recovery, the statement added.
