The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bombing in the province of Faryab in northwestern Afghanistan, which killed eight children and injured another child.

In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
